Authenticate Your Identity with Ease and Securely
Activation Process (Basic User)
Step 1: Download and Activate your application. (Must be an holder of a social security or national register numbers)
Step 2: Provide required data to activate.
Step 3: myID will validate all input data.
Step 4: Verify your personal data.
Step 5: Create your security PIN for the application.
Step 6: You are activated as a Basic User.
Verification Process (Standard User)
Step 1: Enter your biometric – Fingerprints and facial features.
Step 2: Upload an authorized ID card or document.
Step 3: myID will perform bio-data and document verification.
Step 4: Once verified, you are activated as a Standard User.
Authentication Process
Same Device Protocol: When attempting to login into IT online services or through third party applications (called relying partner, RP) on the same device where Self:ID is installed, the RP will auth-start your Self:ID application and prompt for authentication with your security PIN.
Different Device Protocol: Accessing any relying partner – RP, from a separate computer system or mobile devices different from your device with installed Self:ID application, then you will be prompted to scan the QR code provide by the RP with your Self:ID and require to authenticate with your security PIN.
